Mario Garcia

Mario Garcia, our Managing Member, was born in Bloomington, Indiana on May 23, 1973. He was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1999. Mario is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mario graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1995. He studied law at Indiana University School of Law –Indianapolis, where he graduated in 1999. Mario is a member of Phi Delta Phi and the Indianapolis Bar Association.

While in law school, Mario was awarded the Cole J. Holder Scholarship and F. Emerson Boyd Scholarship. He was also awarded the Order of the Barristers, and participated in Hispanic Law Society. Mario currently serves on the United States Sentencing Commission’s Practicioner’s Advisory Group as the Seventh Circuit Representative, is on the District Court’s Local Rules Committee for the Southern District of Indiana, and is Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Indiana Federal Community Defender organization.  Mario volunteers throughout the greater community where he has volunteered as a Trustee for The Orchard School, Hispanic Law Month events for the Indiana State Bar Association and has volunteered his time for the Alzheimer’s Association.  He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis Alumni Association, was the President of the Board of Directors for The Hispanic Center, Inc. Mario has also worked as a volunteer for the NCAA Final Four Host Committee and the World Police and Fire Games.
